Loss at the start of home season

The Leopards had problems with scoring in home-opener.

In our home-opener goalie Maxim Tretyak and forward Nikita Mikhailov made their debut for HC Sochi team.

Mikhailov was first player of the game who moved to penalty box. In first period we even had a 5-on-3 during long penalty of Danis Zaripov. Unfortunately, Sochi did not create enough to get the opportunity to score.

Unfortunately on 26^th minute of the game our players lost Kirill Petrov near the crease and Ak Bars forward opened the scoreboard. Soon Alexander Burmistrov extended their lead with perfect snipe top shelf. Ak Bars dominated on the ice, our players made only fives shots in second and third periods of the game.

In the middle of the third Justin Azevedo with a beauty move made it 3-0 and killed all our hopes. The final score was set by Nigel Dawes with 87 second left to play in the game.

Next game our team will play on Tuesday against Metallurg.
