In the last game of the 2020 year Sochi scored six goals to Severstal continuing good winning streak against the Cherepovets club.

From the beginning of the game, our players were ready to make a New Year gift for our fans. In the middle of the first frame, Ansel Galimov scored on the rebound from his own shot.

In two minutes Nikita Feoktistov capitalized on the powerplay scoring his first goal for our team.

Then Igor Rudenkov made it 3-0 on the breakaway.

After the intermission Severstal started to play more active. They used our mistakes. Yegor Morozov and Jacob Berglund cut our lead just to one goal.

The Leopards were not satisfied with those circumstances. Sergei Shmelyov scored twice in a four-minute span:


In the third period, Ansel Galimov also made a double to lead our team to a huge win at the end of the year.

Sochi will come back to action on January 3 against Torpedo.
