Overtime times

The home series of Sochi continued with another matchup against Dinamo Minsk.

Rafael Batyrshin replaced in the lineup defenseman Daniil Miromanov. Maxim Tretyak started the game in the net.

For Dinamo Minsk our team is not a good opponent. The last time they won in the Dome three years ago. The first period was quite even, both teams exchanged goals. Sergei Shmelyov scored the first goal of the night and extended his scoring streak to five games.

On a delayed penalty, Dinamo Minsk tied the game with a long shot from Stepan Falkovsky.

For the second period our team regrouped and played with the same level of energy and effort. Dmitry Kolgotin restored our lead.

Dinamo tied the game in the third with Zach Mitchell’s goal. The game again decided in overtime where Roman Gorbunov helped Dinamo to seal a win.

Sochi will continue a home series against Sibir on January 21.
