Bitter loss in Mytishchi

The Leopards suffered another loss in the regular season.

The game against Kunlun Red Star was a lonely one-game road trip for our troops in 2021 year. A bunch of our players played for national teams during the break, they rejoined with our team in Moscow the day before the matchup.

The team showed a similar result this season, so for sure, it should be a tight battle. Daniil Miromanov opened the scoreboard joining the attack from our first line:

With 19 seconds left to play in the first period, Vojtech Mozik made the score even. Later Mozik scored his second of the night. However soon Vasily Glotov tied the game:

At the last minute of the second period Ethan Werek buried the rebound to restore Kunlun Red Star lead this game. In the third, we tried hard to tie the game again. In the last shifts, Ryan Sproul sent an empty-netter to set a final score 4-2.

Sochi is heading back home where they will face Avtomobilist on February, 21.
