Fight till the end

The Leopards failed to secure a comfortable lead again Dinamo Minsk.

We have a number of changes in our roster for tonight’s game. Ivan Kulbakov was placed on the injury list. Maxim Tretyak started the game in the net.

Teams started the game accurately. Dinamo Minsk got some possession however our team was able to score first. Nikita Tochitsky put his name on the scoreboard.

In the second Dinamo turned the game around. Rob Klinkhammer buried the rebound from the crease and a few seconds later Alexei Protas made it 2-1 for Dinamo.

Before the second intermission our defenseman Vladislav Kurbatov decided that it’s the best time for the first KHL goal. The game was in 3x4 format and Kurbatov moved to the enemy zone and overplayed their goalie.

At the start of the third Igor Rudenkov capitalized on the powerplay to give Sochi a lead.

However till the end of the third period, Dinamo found a way to tie the game and won it. With three minutes left to play, Zach Mitchell scored a game-winning goal.
