Coaching staff

	Alexander Andrievsky Head Coach Born on August 10, 1968 in Minsk. Player's career: Player’s career: Mr. Andrievsky started his career in hometown team Dinamo. Later he played for the following clubs: Dynamo Moscow, Fribourg Gotteron (Switzerland), Tivali Minsk, Chicago Blackhawks (NHL), Indianapolis Ice (IHL), Kalamazoo Wings (IHL), HPK (Finland), Bolzano (Italy), Krefeld Penguine, EHC Neuwied, Revier Lowen Oberhausen, EHC Freiburg (all – Germany), Khimik Voskresensk and Gomel (Belarus). Achievements as a player: Two-time Belarus Champion Bronze medalist of Belarussian Championship Belarus player of the Year Bronze medalist of Finnish Championship Coaching career: Andrievsky started coaching career in 2006 with a work as an assistant at Dinamo Minsk. Two years later he started career as a head coach in Gomel (Belarus), next year he was appointed at Dinamo Minsk. In 2014-15 he got a work in Admiral Vladivostok. He helped the club to get to the playoffs twice. Last season Andrievsky spent at Sibir Novosibirsk. On October 28, 2019 Andrievsky was appointed the head coach of HC Sochi.
	Pavel Hynek Coach Mr. Hynek was born on January 4, 1970, in Prague (Czechoslovakia). He began his coaching career at the age of 25 when he became an assistant in the coaching staff of the Czech national junior team (U18). Later on, he was a member of the coaching staff of the Czech national junior team (U20), with which he won gold medals at the World Championships (2000/01). At the club level, he worked in Czech clubs Sparta (Prague), Litvinov, Slovan (Ústečtí Lvi), Orli Znojmo, Plzen, Karlovy Vary, Pardubice, Bílí Tygři, Slavia (Prague) and Hradec Kralove. He won the Czech Republic Championship (1999/00, 2001/02, 2011/12) as well as became the silver (2000/01) and bronze medallist (2002/03, 2010/11, 2016/17) of the Czech Extraliga. In July 2018 he joined the coaching staff of HC Sochi.
	Vadim Khomitsky Coach Born on July 21, 1982 in Voskresensk. Player’s career: During his career Khomitsky played for the following clubs: Khimik Voskresensk, CSKA, Iowa Stars (AHL), Khimik/Atlant Mytishchi, Ak Bars Kazan, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, Avangard Omsk, HC Sochi. Last three seasons Vadim played for our club. After expiration of the contract he signed a new deal as a coach. Khomitsky works in our club as a coach since September 2019.
	Igor Yefimov Coach Born on January 22, 1974 in Moscow Player’s career: During his career Yefimov played for Krylya Sovetov, B.C. Icemen (USA), CSKA, Energiya, Titan. Coaching career: He started coaching career in 2012 with a work in Lokomotiv system at VHL club. Later he worked at Loko (JHL), Lokomotiv (KHL), SKA-1946 (JHL), Russia U16, SKA-Neva (VHL), Russia B and SKA. Igor Yefimov joined HC Sochi in December, 2019.
	Vadim Tarasov Goaltending Coach Born on December 31, 1976 in Ust-Kamenogorsk (Kazakhstan). Player’s career: Tarasov started his career in hometown team Torpedo. Later he joined Metallurg Novokuznetsk and played totally eleven seasons for this hockey club. Tarasov also played for the following clubs: Québec Citadelles (AHL), Salavat Yulaev Ufa, Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, Severstal Cherepovets. Achievements as a player: Winner of Russian Championship 3-time best goaltender of Russian Championship Coaching career: Tarasov started his coaching career in Salavat Yulaev spending four seasons in this club. On October 28, 2019 Tarasov joined HC Sochi coaching staff.
	Alexandr Mikulchik Conditioning Coach Born on December 28, 1965 in Minsk Career: Mikhulchik did not play too long in hockey deciding to choose weightlifting. In 2012 he joined club Donbass Donetsk, next two years Ukrainian club participated in KHL. Then he worked at SKA Saint Petersburg and Admiral Vladivostok. 2019-20 season Mikhulchik started in VHL club Khumo Tashkent. On October 28, 2019 Mikhulchik joined HC Sochi coaching staff.
	Pavel Smirnov Video Coach Born on May 12, 1977 in Perm. Career: Player’s career: Smirnov played for following clubs in his career: Molot Perm, CSKA Moscow, Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL), Kalamazoo Wing (IHL), Quebec Citadelles (AHL), Tallahassee Tiger Sharks (ECHL). Coaching career: Smirnov worked as a coach and scout in Quebec Remparts (QMJHL), later he became a coach in Molot academy and Sochi winter sports academy. Smirnov works for HC Sochi since 2014.
