Battle till the end

Leopards lost the game to Spartak in the last five minutes of the game.

After a win in Podolsk coaches decided to make some rotation in the lines. Marcus Nilsson returned to the lineup while Nikita Mikhailov watched the game off the ice.

We started the game well and Jere Karjalainen shot off the bar. Ansel Galimov missed from the breakaway chance, however Spartak had a couple of chances to open the score. Our possession has increased in the second but the home team scored first. In one minute Amir Garayev tied the game perfect snipe and scored his first ever KHL goal.

In the third we had a powerplay chance, at one moment it was an overtime game. Spartak woke up in the last five minutes to score three unanswered goals.

Sochi is heading back home where it will host Barys on October 28.
