Hard times at Nizhny

The Leopards continued road trip in Nizhny Novgorod where our troops faced Torpedo. Alexei Krasikov started the game in the net. Jere Karjalainen, Ivan Mishchenko and Vladislav Valentsov returned to the lineup.

We played much better in the third frame. We outshot the opponent three times with 15-5 score, had more puck possession however Andrei Tikhomirov stopped 31 shots that night and helped Torpedo to seal a win.

The Leopards will finish the road trip in Yaroslavl on December 25. On December 28 Sochi will start a 4-game New Year home series.Again we had hard times in the first period. A few days ago in Riga, we allowed three goals. Sochi answered with Vasily Glotov’s goal from a nice setup from German Rubtsov. Later in the game Torpedo played quite solid limiting our chances to score. In the second period they established their 3-goal lead.
